Fresno SAR Member Wins Prestigious Peabody Award at SAREX

Fresno County Search and Rescue Mountaineering Team's very own Art Sallee was this year's winner of the Larry Peabody Award presented Saturday, September 11th at SAREX.The Larry Peabody Award is an annual award given by the Governor’s Office of Emergency Services to the California volunteer search and rescue individual or team that performs their search and rescue duties with professionalism, dedication and an unswerving desire to successfully accomplish their noble mission.See the attachment below to read Art's nomination letter by Sargent Curtice.
